I didn't think I would, but I did!

NYAF came and went, and it was so, so much fun; even more so than last year! Prepping for it was a pain in the ass. But instead of scrambling at the last minute and scraping everything together on the day before the con, I managed to get everything done two days before the con. I think that's a personal record. There were a couple of prints I wanted to get done, but didn't have time - next year!

Anyway, I love the people at that con. Had great table neighbors, got to see some good buddies again. Even ran into an old friend from high school, Andrea, who also had a table! Saw a bunch of people from Otakon and last year's NYAF. And my friend Eric brought me a Betta fish for good luck! His name is Finland! Saw SomethingForEveryone again, yaaay! KirakoRora was the most adorable Korea ever, Kid-Keehl was an awesome, awesome Bel, Julie was the cutest Japan. <3 Everyone who stopped by, thank you! I'd list more, but I haven't been able to go through my bucket o' business cards yet, so forgive me even though I suck. I miss cons already; I can say this now that I've caught up on sleep. I hope I can get tables next year, and make it to some new cons as well!

I bought the threeghosts.net domain sometime back in February, and it's just been gathering dust until now.

I've had a portfolio site for a while over at midnight-radio.net. It's pretty much just my finished art and a bit of information, and I really want to keep it that way. However, other than dumping new art up there every so often, there's not much I can do with it. Not much room for fun there.

So I kind of wanted a slightly more personal site, with more freedom to mess around and be stupid and yap about stuff. And a place to post the sketchier, less finished work that I don't want to get mixed in with my portfolios. I'll also have my finished work there, so it's somewhat of a standalone portfolio as well.

I've got some new stuff up on there now (which is mostly just some older stuff no one's seen, plus a few new things). Go check it out! I'll be hanging out there a lot, and probably posting there a lot more often than I do here.

Holy crap! ryuuha, thanks so much for suggesting my train piece as a DD, and Thiefoworld, thanks for the feature! What an awesome thing to log on and see; so cool of you, seriously. And thanks, everyone, for the feedback - I really appreciate and love reading your comments, and it makes me happy that a lot of others feel the same way about train rides. Many of the New Yorkers I encounter there seem bitter about it (although during rush hour in the summer, it's understandable). Thanks, guys. <3

Also! It would be awesome if you could help me on this:

I work at my computer for the majority of the day, and am always listening to something so I don't go insane from staring at the screen in silence. I've got about 30gb of music on my drive, and unfortunately it's not really doing much for me anymore, since I'm getting tired of listening to the same stuff all the time (I've also taken to listening to movies and TV series and stuff while I work).

So basically, what are you all listening to or watching now that you love? Or have loved? Or just feel like recommending? Doesn't matter what genre of music or type of show/movie - if you think it's good, I would like to hear of it, plz. I just need new entertainment. Halp!

I really suck at updating my dA, guys. It's been a bit of a crazy year so far. I hope you'll forgive my crappiness at responding to notes and comments; I feel terrible! Please feel free to send strongly-worded letters and sound beatings - they are much deserved.

We're back from Otakon! Lack of sleep aside, it was definitely good times - so many awesome people and so much amazing art in the alley. I was pretty much stuck to the table all weekend, and that was more than enough fun for me. I really hope I'm lucky enough to get a table next year. I was sad to leave.

And now for several paragraphs of "thank you"s and "awesome"s.

izolas, I'm so glad we got to hang out again, chibi. <3 Thanks for keeping us company and being your awesome self. Also got to hang out with BaylaVin again for the first time in a few years - thank you so much for coming by and letting us bug you about all the travel tips! We all talked about how awesome you are all the way back to the hotel. <3 DragonTamerGemini, it was so great to see you again - I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye before the con was over, but I hope you'll be at NYAF. We will talk soon, and hopefully get together for some fish shopping!

look, it was so great to have you as a neighbor! Thanks for your beautiful prints - I hope we didn't bug you too much! Got to see jieyi again - yaaaay! <3 Your prints are gorgeous - I love them! Can't wait to see you guys again at NYAF! And I got to meet kitten-chan, who made an awesome bundle of 8059 goodness with her friend and was so cool! (ILU <3) And thanks so much to everyone who stopped by the table and stayed to chat and geek out about stuff. You are all way too cool.

And mostly, burntheskies, goddessme and bluefaces, thank you guys so much for helping me with the table, for keeping me fed and sane all weekend and for the good times in the hotel.
